Changes to the System for When Paid Content Is Purchased for the First Time in Platform Stores (UPDATED OCTOBER 13, 2021 (PDT))

In mid-October, we will be making the following changes to specifications for when paid content is purchased for the first time, these specifications are currently implemented only in the Steam and Epic Games versions as a fraud prevention measure. Some of these changes will also apply to the Xbox One and Microsoft Store versions.

Current System

  • In the Steam and Epic Games versions, purchases of paid content are not reflected in-game until the following conditions have been met: 24 hours have passed since the first purchase of paid content was made, or 24 hours have passed since the first character on the account was created.

System after Changes Are Implemented

  • Players will be able to receive the paid content they purchased right after logging into the game.
  • In the Steam and Epic Games versions, players will not be able to put items up for sale in the Personal Shop until 24 hours have passed since their purchase of paid content on the respective platform or 24 hours have passed since the first character on the account was created.
  • In the Xbox One and Microsoft Store versions, players will not be able to put items up for sale in the Personal Shop until 24 hours have passed since the first character on their account was created.
