NGS updates do no start in the Microsoft Store

We have confirmed an issue where NGS updates do no start in the Microsoft Store and therefore players are unable to log into the game.

Should this occur, please try the following:

  1. Install the Xbox app via the Microsoft Store.
  2. Launch the Xbox app, go to My Collection > Manage Installs, and click either Update or Update All.
  3. Launch the Microsoft Store, enter “PSO2” in the search bar, and select “Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis”.
  4. Confirm that the game was updated and launch the game.
